The surroundings offer several sights nearby. Phuket FantaSea, an entertainment complex with a large cultural show, is 2.3 km away, and the Bang Tao Night Market is 2.3 km off as well. For shopping, Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall in the Patong area, has shops and restaurants under one roof, and the Surin area itself is quieter, with a relaxed pace on its sand. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of Phuket's best-known temples, is 15.7 km away, and Big Buddha Phuket, a white hilltop statue, is a little further.

For a day out, the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong make a good pair of visits, and the island's beaches are easy to combine with them. Phuket International Airport is 15.2 km from the resort and is the main gateway for arrivals on the island, with the last part of the journey made by road.
