Our Jungle House

The rooms at Our Jungle House are set among the trees in the grounds of the property, and many of them look out over the mountains of Khao Sok. Most rooms have a private entrance, a fan, a mosquito net, toiletries and towels, and several of them have a balcony or terrace.

Several rooms sleep up to five guests, and the property has family rooms as well as double rooms and bungalows. Most rooms also have a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and the property has free parking for guests who drive.

Outdoor activities are part of the stay at Our Jungle House. The property offers canoeing, non-motorised water sports and hiking trails through the jungle, along with a hot spring bath and massage. The garden and terrace are also available.

A restaurant and a bar are on site, with a breakfast takeaway service and alternative meal arrangements, and the property has a garden, a terrace, a game room and a smoking area. For getting around, there is an airport transfer and a shuttle service, and tours can be arranged. Khao Sok is a rainforest area in the hills of Surat Thani province, in southern Thailand, known for its limestone karst cliffs, its rivers and the national park that covers much of the valley. The property sits in a quiet, rural part of the valley, where the setting is more forest than town and the appeal lies in the trees rather than the beaches. It is a place for slow days, with the garden, the hot spring bath and the mountain views.

Khao Sok National Park is 1,000 m from the property, and the Mae Yai waterfall is 4.6 km away, while an elephant sanctuary is 1.7 km away. A monkey pond and the Wing Hin waterfall are also close by, in the forest around the valley. Surat Thani Airport is 71.6 km away, and the last part of the trip is by road.

A day here can start with a walk on the jungle trails or a canoe trip on the water, then a visit to one of the waterfalls in the afternoon. Tours can be arranged through the property, and the hot spring bath is a good way to finish the day after the walking. Meals are available at the on-site restaurant and bar after a day on the trails.
