Orchidilla Residence

The accommodation at Orchidilla Residence is made up of houses, several of them 56 m², with one 96 m² house that has a river view. Capacity runs from two to four guests, and several houses have a private bathroom with a shower or a walk-in shower.

The houses can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle and a hair dryer, and some have a king bed with a single bed. Kitchenware and a refrigerator are also available in some of them, and a computer and a mobile hotspot device can be found in several houses.

The residence has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool and a garden. A massage service is available, and tours can be arranged for guests who want to explore the island.

Bicycles and bicycle rental are offered, as is hiking, and there is an airport transfer. Parking includes free parking on site and bicycle parking, and Wi-Fi is available in the public areas, with a computer station and a laptop workspace.

For everyday needs there are luggage storage, laundry, ironing and daily housekeeping, along with safety deposit boxes, bottled water, and grocery and food delivery. The languages spoken include English, German and Thai, and the residence has a children's swimming pool for younger guests to use.

Mai Khao is a quiet part of Phuket island, away from the nightlife of Patong and the island's busiest resort beaches. Maikhao Beach is a few hundred metres from Orchidilla Residence, and the Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation, a sea turtle conservation project, is also in the area. The setting is more rural than the busy resort strips of Patong and Karon.

Phuket International Airport is 2.4 km away, so the airport is a short drive from the residence, and an airport transfer is offered. Nai Yang Beach, 4.8 km away, is another stretch of sand on the same coast, and the Airplane Viewpoint at Maikhao Beach is a place to watch aircraft take off and land. Bicycle rental is offered at the residence for short rides, while a taxi or car covers longer trips, and an airport transfer is offered for the journey to and from the airport.

A day could start with a walk along Maikhao Beach, continue to the Airplane Viewpoint, and end at the Ni Yang Night Market, 4.3 km away. The Splash Jungle Water Park is 1.8 km away, and Patong Beach, 25.1 km away, is the island's busiest stretch of sand, with nightlife and shopping for a longer trip.
