Onvara Place

The rooms at Onvara Place can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a desk and a refrigerator, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. The Superior Deluxe, Larger Guest room measures 56 m² and has a park view, a queen bed and a bathtub. The Standard Classic measures 27 m² and sleeps up to two guests, with air conditioning and a private bathroom.

The Sweet Deluxe Room measures 52 m² and sleeps up to three guests. The Wooden room measures 30 m² and sleeps up to three guests, and the Sweet Deluxe room welcomes up to three guests as well.

The front desk is open 24 hours, and the guesthouse offers an elevator, express check-in and check-out, a concierge and luggage storage. Bicycle rental is also offered, along with daily housekeeping, laundry service and dry cleaning.

Onvara Place is in the Khlong Suan Phlu district of Ayutthaya, a residential part of the city where local streets and small temples lie between the guesthouse and the older sites. The ruins of the former capital are a short drive away, and the guesthouse is a practical starting point for exploring the city on foot or by bicycle. The Khlong Suan Phlu Health Promoting Hospital is 450 m away, so medical help is close by.

Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon is 550 m away, and Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan, home to a large seated Buddha image, is 1.7 km away. The Historic City of Ayutthaya, with its ruined temples and palace grounds, lies 4 km away, and Ayutthaya Train Station is 2.1 km away, which is useful for onward travel by rail.

A good way to spend a day is to visit the temples near the guesthouse in the morning, then travel to the historic site for the larger ruins. The Ayothaya Floating Market & Elephant Village is a different kind of outing and is also close by, and the guesthouse offers bicycle rental for moving between the sites. Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan, with its large seated Buddha image, is also worth a visit in the same outing.
