The rooms at Oceana Resort Phuket measure between 33 and 62 m² and range from apartments and deluxe rooms to suites, with beds from a single to a king. Most of them have a mountain view, while others look out over the city or over the nature around the resort.

Behind the beach, the lanes hold local markets, small shops and street-food stalls, so it is a quieter choice for those who want the sea close without Patong's bustle.

Kamala Beach is 300 m away, and Phuket FantaSea, the theme park with its evening show, is 1.3 km away. Patong Beach, with its nightlife strip, is 4.9 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, is 12.8 km away.

A good day could begin with a swim at Kamala Beach, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha on its hill, which has wide views over the island, and end with the show at Phuket FantaSea. Because the island is large, most visitors choose one or two sights for each day rather than trying to see everything. The island's airport is reached by road, and the resort offers an airport transfer. Several sights are a longer drive away, so guests often combine two or three of them in one outing, and the Big Buddha is often the last stop of the day.
