Oasis Guesthouse

The rooms at Oasis Guesthouse include garden-view and mountain-view rooms, a family room, a mixed dormitory for single travellers and a garden-view penthouse suite. Several rooms measure 24 m², and you can choose a bed in the mixed dormitory for one guest or a suite for up to five.

Behind the sand, the streets are lined with shops and food stalls, and the guesthouse sits 250 m from the beach, close enough to make the sea a regular part of the day. In the evening, the Karon Night Market adds street food and local goods to the streets around the bay.

Nearby, Big Buddha stands on Nakkerd Hills, 3.1 km away, and it is one of the island's best-known landmarks. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's most important Buddhist temples, is 4.5 km away. Patong, Phuket's busiest resort town, is 4.2 km away, with the nightlife of Bangla Road.

A day could start with a walk along Karon Beach, continue to Chaithararam Temple and the Big Buddha, and end the evening at the Karon Night Market. Kata Beach is the other main bay in the area, so a day can include both. Taxis can take you to the other bays and temples across the island, and Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport for arrivals by air. For the evening, Bangla Road in Patong is the island's best-known nightlife street, and it is a short taxi ride from the bay.
