Nonnee

Most of the rooms at Nonnee are dormitory-style and measure 20 m², with mixed and female-only options. Several dormitories share their bathroom with other guests, the dormitories with a city view also have air conditioning, one room has a balcony or terrace, and a private dormitory sleeps up to thirteen guests.

A private room with a garden view and a private bathroom is also offered, with a choice of bed set-ups. A single bed in a dormitory for one guest is also available, and the mixed-gender dormitory has room for up to six guests in bunk beds. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and guests can use the outdoor and indoor swimming pools.

Nonnee has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, along with a garden, a terrace and a game room with billiards. The hotel also has facilities for canoeing, diving, fishing and snorkelling, and tours, car hire and a taxi service are offered.

Nonnee sits in the Kata area of Phuket, on the Andaman side of the island, where the streets lead down to a wide sandy bay. The neighbourhood mixes hotels and guesthouses with small restaurants, shops, a wellness centre and a gym. Restaurants and small shops line the roads that run towards the beach, so there are plenty of places to eat.

Kata Beach is 1.2 km away and is the nearest beach to the hotel. The Big Buddha stands on a hilltop and is one of the best-known landmarks on the island, while Wat Kitti Sangkharam, a Buddhist pagoda, is in the immediate neighbourhood. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 4.3 km away, and Patong, one of the island's best-known resort beaches with its nightlife, is 7.8 km away.

A good day could start at the Big Buddha, continue to Wat Chalong and end on Kata Beach. The Kata Walking Street Night Market (1.5 km) is an evening option, and Phuket International Airport is 32.6 km away, with an airport transfer offered by the hotel. Patong is the place to go for nightlife if you want a livelier evening, and Phuket Town, the island's main town, is a longer drive away.
