Non La Mer Hostel

The rooms at Non La Mer Hostel are mixed dormitory rooms of 40 m², and each one has a bunk bed for a single guest. Every room also has its own private bathroom with a shower.

Beyond the rooms, the hostel offers a shared lounge with TV, a bar and a restaurant, along with spa and massage facilities.

Non La Mer Hostel is in the Pra Ae area of Koh Lanta, a long island in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Krabi province. The setting is relaxed and rooted in village life, with the sand of Long Beach close at hand, and the island's beaches and villages give the area its character.

Long Beach is 400 m away, and Klong Dao Beach lies a little further along the coast. The Khlong Dao Muay Thai Stadium is 700 m away, and small shops and a supermarket are close by. Sala Dan Pier, a ferry terminal 3.6 km away, links the island with the mainland, and Lanta Old Town, 11.7 km away, has traditional wooden shophouses.

A day could start on the sand at Long Beach and continue with a trip to Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 17.9 km away, or to Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a longer journey from the hostel. Bicycles are available at the hostel for shorter trips, and diving and snorkelling are offered as well. The hostel offers tours and a shuttle service for trips further afield. Koh Lanta is reached by boat from the mainland, so the crossing is part of the journey from Krabi.
