Long Beach is a long stretch of sand on Koh Lanta, an island in Krabi province on Thailand's Andaman coast, and the hostel is in the Pra Ae area, a short walk from the sand. The island has a relaxed feel, with beaches, villages and forest spread along its length, and the beach is the obvious place to start a day. Getting around the island is part of the trip, since the beaches and villages are spread out along the coast.
