Location & what to see
Klong Nin Beach is a stretch of sand on Koh Lanta, the island off the coast of Krabi province in the Andaman Sea, and the resort lies right beside it. Behind the sand is the small village of Khlong Nin, so the setting is mainly that of a village beach, with a few dive and tour operators nearby. Other beaches on the island are close by, including Nui Beach and Klong Hin Beach.
Within a short distance are a limestone cave, the island's old town and a national park. Khao Mai Kaew Cave is 2.1 km away and Lanta Old Town is 4.7 km away, while Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine park that covers the coast around the island, and Khlong Chak Waterfall are 8.3 km away. Kantiang Bay, at the southern end of the island, is 12.9 km away, and Khlong Hin Noi Beach and Khlong Top Yai Beach are within a few kilometres of the resort.
A good day could begin with a swim at Klong Nin Beach, continue to Khao Mai Kaew Cave and end with a walk through Lanta Old Town. The national park and the waterfall make a longer outing from the resort. Boat trips to and from the island can be rougher in the monsoon months.
