Niece hostel

Niece hostel offers bunk beds in shared dormitory rooms alongside private rooms, and every room has a shared bathroom with a shower. The rooms measure from 10 m² to 50 m², so solo travellers and small groups can both find a place to stay.

The Twin Room has a city view and two single beds, and a single room with a full kitchen sits alongside the 50 m² five-bedroom house with a mountain view, which sleeps up to 14 guests and has a choice of bed set-ups. Air conditioning is provided in several rooms, and the 18 m² rooms each have a bunk bed or a double bed.

The hostel has a shared kitchen, a kitchenette and a coffee shop, and food delivery is available. Guests can use the shared lounge and TV area, the game room and the terrace. Some rooms have a kitchenette, a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee or tea maker.

Tours, car hire, ticket services, currency exchange, luggage storage and lockers are offered, along with express check-in and check-out. Free WiFi is available in all rooms and in the public areas.

Bang Thao is a beach area on Phuket island, and Niece hostel stands on Srisoonthorn Road, close to the beach, the local markets and several temples. It is a practical base for travellers who want time on the sand and easy access to street food, with a food hall at Porto de Phuket close by.

Bang Tao Beach is 2.8 km away, a long sandy beach fringed with resorts. Closer to the hostel is the Bang-Tao Night Market, 500 m away, where street food stalls set up in the evenings, and the Choeng Thale Fresh Fruit Market, 450 m away, sells fresh tropical fruit. Wat Choeng Thale, a Buddhist temple in the same area, is a quieter stop between beach visits.

The island's best-known resort beach, Patong Beach, is 9.2 km away, with its nightlife, while Phuket International Airport is 13.6 km from the hostel. The wider island is easiest to reach by road, with a car or taxi. A quiet morning on Bang Tao Beach, an afternoon at Wat Choeng Thale and an evening at the night market make a full day without leaving the area. The Blue Tree water park and the Laguna golf courses are also in the wider neighbourhood, for a day with a different pace.
