Nayai Resort

Rooms can have air conditioning, a shower and toiletries, a refrigerator and free bottled water, and free WiFi is available in all rooms. Some rooms sleep up to three guests, so a small group can stay together.

One room measures 32 m² and has a city view, with a choice of bed set-ups for up to two guests. The 24-hour front desk is staffed at all hours, and daily housekeeping is provided.

Nayai Resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, set in a garden. Families with children are welcome. There is a restaurant with 24-hour room service, and the 24-hour front desk offers a concierge service and luggage storage.

Nayai Resort is in Chalong, a residential district of Phuket island with a bay, a pier and one of the island's best-known Buddhist temples. The pace here is slower than in the beach resorts of Patong and Karon, and the surroundings are more local, with markets, small shops and temples rather than nightlife.

Wat Chalong is 1.1 km away, and the Big Buddha, on a hill with views across the island, is 4.4 km away. Chalong Pier is the departure point for boat trips to the nearby islands, and Patong's beaches and Bangla Road are 6.6 km away. Phuket International Airport is 28.8 km from the resort, and an airport transfer is offered. The Phuket Botanic Garden and a crocodile farm are close by, and Phuket FantaSea, a cultural show park, is 12.9 km away.

A good day starts at Wat Chalong, continues to the Big Buddha and finishes with a stroll through the Phuket Botanic Garden. From the pier, boats head out to the islands, though rough seas in the rainy season can make the trips uncomfortable. A Muay Thai gym with day classes is right next to the resort, and several other training gyms are within a few hundred metres of it.
