Further afield are the Big Buddha, a hilltop Buddha statue and one of the island's best-known landmarks, 11.7 km away, and Na Muang Waterfall, an inland waterfall well away from the coast. Maenam Beach, a sandy beach 5.2 km away, is a quiet place to spend the afternoon, and Lomprayah Pralarn Pier, 3.6 km away, is a pier for high-speed ferries to nearby islands. Samui Airport, the island's own airport, is the nearest one to the resort for air travel.

The resort's own spa, yoga room and garden are also an option for the morning. A day could start with a swim at the private beach, then continue to the Big Buddha or to Na Muang Waterfall. The afternoon can be spent on Maenam Beach, and Fisherman's Village, a lively area of shops and restaurants, makes a good evening outing. In between, a meal at the resort or a drive along the coast gives a good picture of the island's village life.
