Nakara Longbeach Resort

Rooms and bungalows at Nakara Longbeach Resort include rooms with a garden view, a room with a partial sea view and suites and bungalows with a beach view. Several of them have a separate shower and bathtub, and one bungalow type has a balcony or terrace.

Several rooms offer a choice of bed set-ups, and the Beachfront Suite pairs a king bed with a sofa bed. The Standard room measures 34 m² and the Beachfront Suite 50 m². The Standard and Deluxe rooms sleep up to two guests, and the Beachfront Suite and the Luxury Bungalow sleep up to three. Hair dryers, bathrobes and toiletries are part of the equipment in several rooms.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool and a poolside bar with happy hour, alongside a bar and restaurants. Breakfast is offered in Asian, buffet and continental styles, and massage treatments are available. Koh Lanta is a long island in Krabi province in southern Thailand, and the resort sits on Long Beach, with the sand 50 m from its grounds. The area around Pra Ae and Saladan has a village feel, with small settlements and the beach as the main reason to stay.

Klong Dao Beach is 1.4 km away and Kantiang Bay is 3.6 km away, a bay with a beach and views across the water. Lanta Old Town, 11.4 km away, is a historic settlement with a fishing heritage, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 17.5 km away, is a marine park of islands and coastline. Car hire, bicycle rental and a taxi service are offered through the resort, so the other beaches and the old town can be reached on the island's roads.

A day could start with a swim at Long Beach and continue with a visit to the old town or a trip into the national park. Getting to Koh Lanta from the mainland is by boat, as the island has no bridge, and Krabi International Airport is on the mainland. Evenings along the beach bring a few small bars and food stalls, a quieter alternative to the larger towns.
