The rooms come in double, twin and single set-ups, plus a standard double or twin room. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and several of them have a garden view.

Several rooms include a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and air conditioning, a flat-screen TV or a kettle and refrigerator appear in some rooms only. Rooms sleep up to two guests or up to five, depending on the room.

Naiyang Boutique Resort sits in the Nai Yang area of Thalang, a quiet part of Phuket's coast where the beach is the main draw. Nai Yang is a long way from the busy nightlife of Patong, and days here revolve around the sand, the sea and the protected coastline behind it. The pace is slower than on the island's main beach resorts.

The sand is 350 m from the resort, and Sirinat National Park is close by, taking in part of the coast. The Sunset viewpoint is also nearby, and the Ni Yang Night Market is 900 m away, a place to browse in the evening. Phuket International Airport is 2.8 km from the resort. Patong Beach, 20 km away, is the island's best-known beach area, while Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples, lies further off.

A day could start on Nai Yang Beach and continue to Nai Thon and Mai Khao beaches, which are a short drive along the coast. Phuket is linked to the mainland by road, so a car or taxi is the usual way to get around the island. Wat Mongkonwaram, a temple close to the resort, is also nearby, so a morning visit can be combined with time on the sand.
