Phuket International Airport is about 37 km away, and a car or taxi is the easiest way to reach the other beaches of the island.

A good day could begin at the Big Buddha, then continue to Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples, before returning to the beaches of Rawai for the evening. The evening can also be spent back at the resort, with its restaurant and bar. Those who prefer a quieter evening can simply stay near the bay.
