Nai Yang Sunset

The rooms at Nai Yang Sunset have air conditioning and private bathrooms, and the choice runs from studios with kitchenettes, balconies or terraces to an 84 m² two-bedroom townhouse with a choice of bed set-ups.

Several rooms have flat-screen TVs, coffee and tea makers or refrigerators, and some studios have full kitchens with dishwashers. Rooms vary in size and layout, and each one is described below with its own details.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a restaurant, with a coffee shop and a poolside bar. Breakfast service, a la carte dining, dinner in the restaurant and food delivery are offered, along with Western cuisine and a convenience store.

For getting around, there is an airport transfer service, car hire, a shuttle service and taxi service, and tours and ticket services can be arranged. Luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping and laundry service are available, and there is a gift and souvenir shop.

Bicycle parking is provided and parking nearby is available. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms, and internet services are also offered in the public areas.

Naiyang Beach is a long, sandy stretch on the Thalang side of Phuket, and much of its coastline lies inside Sirinat National Park. The area keeps a slower pace than the busy beaches around Patong, which is 19.8 km away. Phuket International Airport is nearby as well, so the beach is an easy place to head to after a flight.

Wat Mongkonwaram, a Buddhist temple about 850 m from the resort, is one of the nearest sights. The sunset viewpoint is about 900 m away, a short outing for the evening. Nai Thon Beach, around 4.2 km away, is a second beach to explore nearby, reached by road along the same coast.

Getting around is easiest by car hire or taxi, which the resort can help arrange, and tours are offered for guests who prefer a guided day. Phuket's better-known sights further afield on the island, such as the Big Buddha, which sits on a hilltop, and Wat Chalong, one of the most revered temples on Phuket, are reached by road from here. A simple day can start with a swim at Naiyang Beach, continue to Wat Mongkonwaram, and end at the sunset viewpoint, which is a fitting finish to a day spent near the sea.
