Location & what to see
Chaloklum is a fishing village set around a bay on Ko Pha-ngan. The village is small enough to explore on foot. Its beach, a few guesthouses and resorts, and dive operators along the road above the sand give the bay a village feel.
Haad Chaloklum, the beach of the bay, is 350 m away, and the resort is a short walk from it. Divers and snorkellers can head out from the bay to the reefs, and Lotus Diving is a short walk along the road. Inland, Wang Sai waterfall lies 1.5 km away, and the Wat Pa Sang Tham pagoda is 2.3 km away. Phangan Safari, a zoo, is 1.2 km away. Haad Rin, the beach known for its full moon parties, is elsewhere on the island.
