Poda Island, 14.9 km away, is a boat trip for a day on the water, and Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside cave temple reached by a long stairway, is one of the sights on the road out of town. Ao Nang Beach and Railay Beach lie further along the coast, with Railay reached by longtail boat, and the limestone cliffs there draw climbers and swimmers alike.
