Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop temple reached by a long stairway, lies 7 km out, and Railay Beach is 10.2 km away, reached mainly by longtail boat. Most of the town's sights are an easy walk from the hotel, while the beaches need a road journey or a boat from the town.

A good day could start with a stroll through the night market area and Krabi Walking Street in the evening, followed by a visit to the temple at Wat Kaew Korawaram. From there, a longtail boat trip to Poda Island, a short island trip offshore, makes a full day on the water.
