Mountain View Resort

Every room at Mountain View Resort has a garden view, a balcony or terrace and a seating area, and each one is fitted with a fan, a desk and a shower. The rooms are non-smoking, and each sleeps up to two guests.

Each room offers a choice of bed set-ups, and a baby cot can be requested from the property, subject to availability. Guests can take breakfast at the on-site restaurant, and the outdoor pool is in the same grounds.

Tours can be arranged, and the resort offers canoeing, hiking and non-motorised water sports for guests who want to get out on the water or into the hills. There is an airport transfer, and free parking is available for guests who arrive by car.

Daily housekeeping is provided, and dry cleaning and a laundry service are available. Lockers, safety deposit boxes and ticket services are also available, along with a gift and souvenir shop, a garden, and English and Thai are spoken.

The on-site restaurant, bar and coffee shop cover meals and drinks, and Wi-Fi is available in public areas. For a swim between outings, the outdoor pool is in the grounds.

Ton Sai lies on the Railay side of Krabi, where limestone cliffs rise above the sand and boats are the main way in. Ton Sai Beach is a short walk from the resort, and the area is known for rock climbing, with climbing schools and cliffs close by. The beach and the cliffs are near enough to combine in a single day.

Railay Beach is 550 m away and Ao Nang Beach about 1.1 km, while Phra Nang Cave, a cave on the Railay side known for its shrine, lies around 1.8 km off. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple reached by a long climb of stairs, is 15.4 km away, and the Ao Nang Night Market is 3 km away for an evening stroll. Mountain Buddha Temple, a pagoda in the Ao Nang area, is also nearby, and the Ao Nang markets, including the Weekend Market, are close by for an evening out.

A day on the water could take in Poda and Tup islands and the Hong Islands, all reached by boat from the piers, while Emerald Pool, a natural pool in the forest inland, makes a land-based outing. Boat trips depend on sea conditions, which can change the plan for the day.
