Mountain View Guest House

The rooms at Mountain View Guest House measure between 20 and 40 m², and most of them look out over the pool, while one bungalow for two people has a nature view. Beds are queen or double beds, and one room has a queen bed together with a single bed. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Most rooms are air-conditioned, and several have a refrigerator and free bottled water. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, and a private bathroom is included in some of them. All rooms have a shower, and the bungalow also has blackout curtains and outdoor furniture.

Sukhothai is a provincial town in the lower north of Thailand, and its ancient ruins, the remains of the first Siamese kingdom, are the main reason many visitors come here. Mountain View Guest House sits in the area around the Historical Park, so the ruins are close at hand.

Sukhothai Historical Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site about 3.5 km away, and its central temple, Wat Maha That, is known for a Buddha head set among tree roots. Wat Sri Sawai, with its three Khmer-style prangs, is 3.1 km from the guesthouse, and the Ramkhamhaeng National Museum, 3.6 km away, shows art and objects from the Sukhothai period. Wat Sri Chum, with a large seated Buddha, is a little farther, and Wat Sa Si, a temple among the ruins, is also inside the park.Sukhothai Airport is 30.4 km from the guesthouse, and the guesthouse offers an airport transfer.

A full day can begin in the Historical Park, moving between the temples on foot or by bicycle, and end at the Ramkhamhaeng National Museum, where objects from the Sukhothai period are displayed. The guesthouse offers bicycle rental, and a taxi service is also available for trips further afield, including to the airport.
