Moonwalk Lanta Resort

All rooms at Moonwalk Lanta Resort have air conditioning. Room sizes run from 18 m² to 25 m², and most rooms sleep up to three guests, while one deluxe bungalow sleeps up to five. Some rooms look onto the garden, one has a sea view, and several have a balcony. Free Wi-Fi covers every room, and the bungalow-style rooms sit in the resort grounds.

Beds range from single beds to queen and king beds, and several rooms have a choice of bed set-ups. Every room has a shower, and some have a refrigerator, a kettle, a desk or a mini bar, depending on the room.

The facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool. A spa with sauna and massage is on site, the resort has a private beach, and diving, fishing and tours can be arranged, with bicycle rental and car hire also offered.

Moonwalk Lanta Resort is in the Baan Klong Khong area of Saladan, on Koh Lanta, an island in Krabi province that is reached from the mainland by ferry. Koh Lanta has no airport, so most guests arrive by air at Krabi and continue by ferry. The surroundings are village lanes, small shops and a few beaches close to one another, and the island's roads run between the villages and the beaches once you arrive. The island has a relaxed pace, with fishing villages and a mix of small guesthouses and resorts.

Khlong Khong Beach is 150 m from the resort, the closest beach to the property, and the resort also has a private beach of its own. Lanta Old Town, a traditional old-town area, is 8.2 km away, and Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a cave on the island, is 6.2 km away. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine park around the coast and islands of Koh Lanta, is 13.7 km away.

A day out can combine the old town with a visit to the national park, which covers the marine waters around the island. The rainy months can disrupt boat trips between islands, so boat trips are not always certain at that time of year.
