Modern Resort

Modern Resort has a Standard Room and a Triple Bungalow with Fan, both sleeping up to three guests, along with three 32 m² rooms with a double bed for two. Those three have garden views and air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The Air Conditioning Building has an electric kettle, a hair dryer and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and its bathroom is private with a shower, toiletries and towels. The Air Conditioning Bungalow has a balcony or terrace and a desk, and the Fan Bungalow has a fan, an alarm clock and linens, with a socket near the bed. The bathrooms in the 32 m² rooms come with a shower.

Modern Resort offers free parking on site, and valet parking is also available, with parking nearby as well. The garden and the terrace form part of the resort's outdoor space, and guests can use the BBQ facilities for a meal outdoors.

Services include daily housekeeping, laundry service, dry cleaning and an ironing service, as well as luggage storage, lockers and safety deposit boxes. A convenience store is on site, and Wi-Fi is also available in public areas, with internet services offered as well.

Tours can be arranged, and diving, fishing and snorkelling are offered for guests who want to spend time on the water. English is spoken at the resort, and ticket services are also available.

Haad Rin sits at the southern tip of Ko Pha-ngan, a beach village best known for the Full Moon Party. In the evening its streets fill with food stalls and small shops, and the sand and the nightlife are both close at hand. Modern Resort is set in this lively part of the island, 420 m from the beach.

The beaches are close by. Haad Rin Nai is 450 m from the resort and Haad Rin Nok is 500 m, and both are a short walk away. In the village of Ban Haad Rin, 200 m away, you will find local shops and the Luang Pu Thuat Shrine. The Haad Rin Queen ferry pier is a short walk from the resort, and boats link Ko Pha-ngan with Ko Samui and the mainland, so the island is reached by water. Getting around the island mostly means songthaew pick-ups and scooters, which is useful for reaching beaches further away such as Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, 10.3 km away.

A good first day is a walk along Haad Rin Nai and Haad Rin Nok, followed by an evening in the village. The longer trip to Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach makes a full day out. The Full Moon Party takes place around the full moon each month, so the atmosphere in Haad Rin changes around those nights.
