Moddaeng Nest

The Guest Room and the ModdaengNest room each measure 20 m², and both are non-smoking rooms. The Guest Room sleeps up to three guests and the ModdaengNest room sleeps two. A room is also assigned to guests on arrival, and it can accommodate up to three guests.

Surat Thani is also a starting point for boat trips to the islands of the Gulf of Thailand.

The Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine, a shrine to the city's guardian spirit, is 1.6 km away, and Wat Phothawas, a Buddhist temple, lies close by. The Surat Thani Night Market, 2.2 km away, sells handmade crafts, textiles and street food, and it is busiest in the evening. Surat Thani Airport (URT) is 20.9 km away, and the railway station is 11.7 km away. A night ferry to Koh Tao leaves from a terminal nearby, so the boat is part of the route for travellers heading to the islands.

A day in the area can start at the City Pillar Shrine and Wat Phothawas, then end at the night market in the evening. Ko Tao is reached only by boat, so any trip there begins at a ferry terminal. For a trip further afield, Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Worawihan, the temple in Chaiya, is 32.7 km away.
