Mitr Inn Phuket Old Town

Rooms at Mitr Inn Phuket Old Town run from single rooms of 15 m² to king rooms of 42 m², with air conditioning in most of them and a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries. Many rooms have a private entrance, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Beds are single, double, queen or king beds, depending on the room, and the king rooms sleep up to two guests. Towels and linens are provided in most rooms, some have a refrigerator, free bottled water and an electric kettle, and one 42 m² room has a bathtub alongside its shower.

Wat Mongkol Nimit, a Buddhist pagoda in the old town, is also close. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7.8 km away, and the Big Buddha, on a hilltop in the island's interior, is 11.1 km away. The Phuket Town Local Bus Station (Terminal 1) is 150 m from the inn, and Phuket International Airport is 27 km away, so the inn suits a visit that starts with the old town before any beach trips.

A good day starts in the old town's lanes and museums, then continues to the night market if it is a Sunday. For the beaches or the Big Buddha, a car or taxi is the practical choice, as the island is reached by road over its bridge from the mainland.
