The local bus station is also close to the inn, and the shophouse streets around it are easy to explore on foot.

Thalang Road, the old town's main street, is 650 m from the inn. The Lard Yai Sunday Night Market, also 650 m away, fills with food stalls and shopping on Sunday evenings, while Wat Mongkol Nimit, a Buddhist pagoda, is 700 m away. Further out, Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, is 7.8 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 27 km away.

A good day here starts with a walk along Thalang Road and its shophouses, then a visit to a pagoda or the Phuket Trickeye Museum, which has three-dimensional painted artworks. In the evening, the Sunday market is a good place for street food. Patong Beach and Big Buddha Phuket are better as a separate trip, reached by road from the old town.
