Mini Thai Guesthouse

The rooms at Mini Thai Guesthouse go from a 15 m² premium room with a king bed to a 32 m² deluxe double with a king bed and a sofa bed. In between are superior, standard and twin rooms, some with mountain views, others with views of the city or the street. Most of the rooms have a private bathroom.

The Double or Twin Room has two single beds for up to two guests, and the standard double room has one double bed. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and several rooms have a bathtub, while some also have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.

Guests can book an airport transfer and tours, and car hire and a taxi service are offered. The fitness centre, a spa with massage, body scrubs and body wraps, and a spa and sauna are on site.

Patong is one of Phuket's busiest beach towns, built around a wide bay with a long sandy beach, a dense strip of shops and restaurants, and a bustling evening scene. Mini Thai Guesthouse sits in the town's streets, 450 m from Patong Beach, so the sand is only a few hundred metres away.

Bangla Road, the street of bars, clubs and night stalls, is 1.1 km away, and the Jungceylon Shopping Center is at the same distance. Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural show and theme complex, is also in the area. The beach road's restaurants and bars are within a few hundred metres of the guesthouse. Karon and Kata beaches lie farther along the coast, while Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's most revered Buddhist temples, is 7.3 km away and the hilltop Big Buddha is 8.4 km. Phuket International Airport is 23.2 km away.

A day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, continue with a walk along Bangla Road in the evening, and end with a visit to the night market or the Jungceylon Shopping Center. Anyone who wants to see the temples and the big statue can plan a half-day trip from the guesthouse and return to Patong in time for dinner.
