Accommodation at Mimosa Resort & Spa runs from 36 m² deluxe rooms to 140 m² family suites, with jacuzzi rooms and a pool villa among them. Several rooms look onto the garden, and others have a partial ocean view. Several rooms also have a whirlpool bathtub, and the family suites sleep up to six guests and have two bathrooms.

Depending on the room, you can find bathrobes, a minibar, a refrigerator, an in-room safe, free bottled water and a balcony or terrace. One room has a roll-in shower and an accessible toilet, with an adapted bath and a shower chair.

Mimosa Resort & Spa has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, plus a children's swimming pool, a poolside bar and a fitness center. The spa offers massage, body scrub and body wrap treatments, and there is a hot tub, a sauna and a steamroom.

For dining there are restaurants, a coffee shop, a snack bar, room service and a kitchen, and Asian, buffet and continental breakfast styles are available.

Families can use the kids club, the playground, the babysitting service and family rooms. There is a private beach where canoeing, diving and fishing are possible, and an airport transfer and a shuttle service are offered. Car hire and bicycles are also available.

Mimosa Resort & Spa is in Mae Nam, a village on the coast of Koh Samui that is quieter than the busier resort strips of Chaweng and Lamai. The village has a pier, a morning market and small temples, and the beach close to the resort makes the setting suit a relaxed beach holiday with an easy pace.

Baan Tai beach is 50 m away, and Mae Nam Morning Market and Wat Na Phra Lan are both a short drive off. Big Buddha, the temple with a large seated Buddha statue, is 10.2 km away, and Na Muang Waterfall, in the island's interior, is 12.7 km away. Most sights are spread across the island, so a car or scooter makes getting around easier, and Samui Airport is also on the island. Both the temple and the waterfall are reached by road from the resort, and the morning market is the place to buy local food and everyday goods.

A good day could take in Fisherman's Village, 7.5 km away, a harbour area with shops and cafés, and then the Big Buddha temple. Later, the Hin Ta & Hin Yai rocks, known locally as Grandfather and Grandmother, are 16.6 km away, a drive that suits a slower afternoon by the sea.
