Patong is a lively beach town on Phuket, and Million Patong Beach Resort sits on Phangmaung Sai Kor Road, about 900 m from Patong Beach. The sand and the sea are the draw here, while the nightlife, the shops and the street food stalls are close by. Visitors who want all of that without staying on the seafront itself will find the area convenient. The streets fill up in the evening, when the night markets and bars open, and the sand is a short walk away for the morning.

Jungceylon Shopping Center is nearby, and Bangla Road, the street of bars and night entertainment, is 1.1 km away. The OTOP Market and the Dragon Night Market are a short walk, and Malin Plaza is also close. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 5.8 km away, and the Big Buddha on the hills is 6.5 km away.

A good day starts on Patong Beach and moves to Bangla Road in the evening, or takes in the temple and the Big Buddha in the hills. Karon Beach and Kata Beach are other sandy stretches reached by road, and the Phuket International Airport is 25.2 km away. Between the sea, the temples and the evening streets, the area offers a full day out without a long trip between the sights.
