Milky Bay Resort

Milky Bay Resort offers chalets, cottages, suites and a pavilion, with sea, ocean, beach, garden and nature views. The rooms have king or double beds, and the bathrooms come with bathrobes, toiletries and a hair dryer.

Rooms can have an electric kettle, a refrigerator, a mini bar, a balcony or terrace, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Rooms can also have complimentary tea, free bottled water and an in-room safe box. Some bathrooms have a separate shower and bathtub, while others have a shower. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the Family Suite sleeps up to four guests while the chalets sleep up to three.

Ban Tai is a village on Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand, and Milky Bay Resort sits close to its houses, temples and beaches. The surroundings are quieter than the island's busiest beach areas, and the resort has a private beach of its own for time by the water.

Wat Khao Tham, a Buddhist temple, is 700 m away, and Haad Baan Tai, a local beach on the coast, is 1.4 km away. Koh Phangan Public Park, 2.9 km away, offers open green space for a walk, and a night market in the village has food stalls set up in the evening. Kiteboarding schools operate a few hundred metres from the resort, and the Bangkok Hospital Samui Clinic - Koh Phangan Branch is also nearby, with several massage studios close by.

Samui Airport is 18.1 km away on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, and Surat Thani Airport is 114.4 km away on the mainland, so arrivals usually reach Ko Pha-ngan by boat. A relaxed day can start with a walk to Wat Khao Tham, continue with a swim at Haad Baan Tai and end at the night market, all within a short distance of the resort. For something more active, Diamond Muay Thai is a Muay Thai gym in the area.
