Mawa Anle Hostel

Every room at Mawa Anle Hostel has air conditioning, and the hostel's public areas are air-conditioned too. Both rooms measure 40 m² and each sleeps one guest, with a bunk bed in one and a single bed in the other.

The single-bed room also has a private bathroom with a shower and a balcony or terrace, so guests can step outside from their own room. Check-in runs from 14:00 to 22:00 and checkout is by 12:00 at this hostel.

Patong is the largest resort town on Phuket's west coast, a busy stretch of sand, restaurants and nightlife on a bay facing the Andaman Sea. The area is lively day and night, with street food stalls, massage shops and a night market a short walk from the hostel. Patong Beach is 750 m away, a short walk for a morning swim. Visitors come for the beaches, the seafood restaurants and the evening markets, and the streets near the sand stay busy long after dark.

Bangla Road, 500 m from the hostel, is the best-known nightlife street in Patong, lined with bars and clubs and busy into the late evening. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is about 6.3 km away, and the Big Buddha on the Nakkerd Hills lies 7.2 km off. Phuket International Airport is 24.4 km away, and the island's main roads link the temples and beaches with the town.

A good day could begin with a morning at Patong Beach, then a drive out to the Big Buddha for the views over the island, and an evening wandering the Banzaan night market and Bangla Road. The Big Buddha is also a good stop for anyone who wants a quieter half-day away from the nightlife.
