Matcha Samui Resort

Matcha Samui Resort has rooms in its Lake Building and Ocean Building, several with garden views and others with lake views. The Sunrise Suite and the Two Bedrooms Lake Building room each measure 75 m² and sleep up to four guests, and both have a bathtub and a private bathroom.

Several more rooms measure 30 or 32 m² and sleep up to four guests. The Deluxe Room, with its lake view and separate shower and bathtub, sleeps up to ten guests. Garden-view rooms in both the Lake Building and the Ocean Building give you a choice of outlook at the resort, and several rooms come with bathrobes, a hair dryer and toiletries.

The resort's facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and a private beach, with a poolside bar by the pool and a bar on site. A 24-hour front desk, room service, daily housekeeping, laundry and ironing services are also available.

Parking is free on site, and free WiFi is available in all rooms. For families the resort has a playground, a children's swimming pool, kids' meals and a family room.

The resort also offers a shuttle service, a concierge, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, a mini golf course and a golf course within 3 km, and an airport transfer. Public areas are air-conditioned as well, and the front desk is staffed around the clock.

Matcha Samui Resort is on Chaweng Beach Road in the Bophud area of Koh Samui, in a busy stretch of beach. Chaweng is lined with restaurants, bars and shops, and the night market and the beach are both close by, so the evenings are lively while the days can be spent by the resort's own pool.

Chaweng Yai Beach is 600 m away, and Central Festival Samui, a large shopping centre, is 700 m. Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha statue on a hill, is 5 km from the resort, and Samui Airport is 2.5 km away on the island itself. Inland, Na Muang Waterfall, a cascade in the island's interior, is 9.8 km away.

A good day could start with a swim in the outdoor pool or on the private beach, followed by a walk along Chaweng Yai Beach and a stroll through the night market in the evening. Na Muang Waterfall makes a good trip inland, and Big Buddha offers a quieter stop for the morning or afternoon. The Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Bophut is a further attraction for those who want to spend a day away from the beach, and evenings on the walking street, with its stalls and eateries, are a short walk from the resort.
