Ma's Sea Beach House

The rooms at Ma's Sea Beach House measure from 30 to 46 m², and every one has a King bed, with a sofa bed added in some. Each room sleeps up to two guests, except one that sleeps up to three. Several rooms have a sea view, and one has a partial sea view.

Private bathrooms come with a bathtub or shower, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels in several rooms. Air conditioning, linen, a flat-screen TV and satellite or cable channels are included in some rooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Ma's Sea Beach House is in the Klong Muang area of Krabi province, a quieter part of the coast than Ao Nang, the busier resort town along the same shore. Klong Muang Beach is a long, less crowded strip of sand, and the streets around the hotel feel more like a village than a resort strip. Local life happens along the village roads, with street-food stalls and small shops, and the sea is the main draw here.

Koh Kwang Beach is 450 m away, and Ao Nang Beach is 8 km away. Railay Beach, with its limestone cliffs, is reached by longtail boat from Ao Nang and makes a popular day out, while the Hong Islands, Poda Island and Tup Island are also day trips by boat. Noppharat Thara Pier, a ferry terminal in the area, is the place to start a boat trip to the islands.

A full day could start with a boat trip from Ao Nang to Railay and end with an afternoon on Klong Muang Beach. The Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 20.8 km away, is a hilltop temple complex with a large golden Buddha and makes a good choice for a different day. Krabi International Airport is 26 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 49 km. Boat trips to the islands can be disrupted by rough seas in the rainy months.
