Rooms at Marco Polo Resort&Restaurant can have air conditioning, a fan, an in-room safe, a seating area, a private bathroom with a shower, bathrobes and a hair dryer, plus a mini bar or refrigerator. Rooms can also have a balcony or terrace.

The Tropical Room measures 30 m² and has a pool view. The Family Room measures 40 m² and has a garden view. The Standard Double or Twin Room measures 28 m². The Villa with Private Pool has a pool of its own.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, with a garden for quieter moments. A massage service is offered, and there is a golf course within 3 km as well as another within 3 km.

An airport transfer is offered, and tours, car hire, currency exchange, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes are available too. Daily housekeeping and laundry are also provided, and so is room service. The restaurants, a coffee shop and a poolside bar are on site, so guests can eat and drink without leaving the resort.

The resort has 24-hour security and facilities for disabled guests, and pets are allowed.

Marco Polo Resort&Restaurant is on Chaweng Noi, a village beside the main Chaweng strip on Koh Samui, and Chaweng Noi Beach lies 100 m from the grounds. The sand is close enough for a swim before breakfast, and the resort's own pools and garden keep the afternoons easy, with the beach a short walk away.

Chaweng Yai Beach, the long central stretch of sand in Chaweng, is 3 km away, and the Walking street fills with shops and food stalls in the evening. Wat Chaweng, a Buddhist temple in the same area, is one of the sights nearby, and the Big Buddha, a large seated statue, is 7.6 km from the resort and one of the best-known landmarks on the island.

A good day can combine a morning swim at Chaweng Noi Beach with a visit to Wat Chaweng and an evening stroll along the Walking street. Samui Airport is 5.2 km away on the island itself, so the transfer to the resort is short and no ferry is needed to reach Koh Samui. The Big Buddha is further off, so it makes a separate outing. After dark, the stalls on the Walking street are an easy place to eat out, and the sand is still the simplest way to start the day.
