Mamma Mia Rooms

Every room at Mamma Mia Rooms has air conditioning, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, toiletries and towels, plus a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, an electric kettle and a hair dryer.

The rooms measure from 28 to 35 m². The Classic Triple Room and the Comfort Triple Room each measure 28 m² and sleep up to nine guests. The Deluxe Family Room measures 35 m² and sleeps up to twelve guests.

The guesthouse has a 24-hour front desk, and there are laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes and daily housekeeping. Tours and car hire can be arranged, and an airport transfer and a shuttle service are offered.

For meals there is a restaurant, a coffee shop, a snack bar and room service, and food delivery is offered as well. A convenience store and a shared lounge with a TV area are also available.

Free parking is available, and English is one of the languages spoken. The rooms have satellite and cable channels for television viewing, and the front desk is open 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

Mamma Mia Rooms is on Thanon Kata 1 in Kata, one of the beach areas of Phuket, and Kata Beach is 300 m away, with Karon Beach just further along the coast. The streets near the sand have restaurants, bars and shops, and the area stays lively well into the evening.

The Kata Walking Street Night Market is right nearby, a good place for an evening stroll and a meal out. Further afield, the Phuket Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha statue on a hill, is 1.7 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's best-known temples, is 4.9 km away. Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 31.9 km away, and the guesthouse offers an airport transfer.

A full day could start with a swim at Kata Beach in the morning, continue with the Big Buddha in the afternoon and end with a visit to Wat Chalong. Back in Kata, the night market is the easy choice for an evening meal. Karon Beach, the next stretch of sand along the coast, is a good option for a second beach day, and the guesthouse is a short distance from both beaches, with Kata Beach the closer of the two.
