All the rooms at Mali Resort Sunrise Beach have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, an electric kettle, bathrobes, a hair dryer and toiletries.

Each room has a king bed and sleeps up to two guests, with floor areas of 30 to 35 m².

Mali Resort Sunrise Beach sits in the Sunrise Beach area of Ko Lipe, a small island in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Satun province in southern Thailand. Its white sand beaches lie along clear water, and swimming, snorkelling and diving are the main activities on the island. The resort is set among the beaches rather than in a town.

Within a short distance of the resort are the Koh Lipe Ferry Terminal, 800 m away, where boats arrive and depart, and the View Point 1 lookout over the sea, 3.1 km away. Koh Adang, a neighbouring island that is part of the Tarutao National Marine Park, lies 6.4 km away and is reached by boat. Its beaches lie within the national park's coastline, a few kilometres from the resort's own shore.

Most of the day can be spent on the water, with snorkelling, diving and non-motorised water sports nearby, and the resort can arrange tours. The outdoor pool and the garden offer time on land between trips, and the massage service is available on the resort grounds. During the monsoon months, rough seas can disrupt boat services to the island, so the sea conditions shape the pace of a stay.
