MAI Samui Beach Resort & Spa

MAI Samui Beach Resort & Spa offers Deluxe rooms of 52 m² and Mai Pool Villas of 110 m², and some of them have pool or garden views. Rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a desk, a seating area and an in-room safe, and the bathrooms come with a shower, bathrobes, toiletries and a hair dryer.

Some rooms have a whirlpool bathtub, and some can have direct access to the pool. A coffee and tea maker, complimentary tea and free bottled water can be found in the rooms, and some rooms also have satellite or cable channels. Beds range from single and double beds to a queen and a king bed.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a private beach, a garden and a terrace, along with a children's swimming pool and a playground. MAI Samui Beach Resort & Spa is on Laem Yai Beach in the Bang Por area of Koh Samui, an island in the Gulf of Thailand. The resort has its own private beach, and Octopus Beach is 350 m away, so a second stretch of sand is close at hand. Beyond the beach, the island's sights are spread across its interior and its villages, and reaching them means a road journey.

Samui Airport is 16.1 km away on the island, and the ferry port of Nathon is the place for boats to the mainland and to the islands nearby. Big Buddha, a large seated statue at a hilltop temple, is 15.6 km away, while Na Muang Waterfall, in the island's interior, is 13.4 km away. Lamai Beach and Chaweng Noi Beach are further along the coast, with long stretches of sand and a range of places to eat and drink.

A day could start with a swim at the resort and continue with the Big Buddha or Na Muang Waterfall in the afternoon. In the evening, the Nathon Night Food Market has street food stalls, and the poolside bar, the spa and the library make the grounds easy to enjoy without leaving the property.
