Magic Hostel

The sleeping arrangements at Magic Hostel are bunk beds in mixed dormitory rooms of 40 m², where each bed is for one guest, and a bed in a 25 m² mixed-gender room.

The dormitory rooms share a bathroom, and they have air conditioning and blackout curtains. A room assigned on arrival sleeps up to three guests.

Magic Hostel has free Wi-Fi in all rooms, with internet services and Wi-Fi in the public areas too. Air conditioning is available in the public area, and the shared lounge with a TV is open to guests.

The activities are canoeing, hiking, tours and a pub crawl, and the game room has pool and foosball. Luggage storage, lockers, dry cleaning and express check-in and check-out are also offered.

For food, there is a vending machine, food delivery and alternative meal arrangements, and a convenience store and a smoking area are also available.

Ao Lo Dalam is a bay on Ko Phi Phi, next to the village of Ton Sai and its ferry piers. Ko Phi Phi has no airport, so the island is reached by boat, and the mainland airports at Krabi and Phuket are the usual starting points for the crossing. The village streets around Ton Sai have small shops, bars and food stalls, and the Phi Phi Market is in the same village area.

The Tsunami Building, a monument to the 2004 tsunami, is 50 m from the hostel. The Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint, 500 m away, is a lookout over the bays, and Ton Sai Bay, 700 m off, is where the boats and ferry piers are. Long Beach is another sandy stretch nearby, and Monkey Beach, 2.2 km away, is a small beach known for its resident monkeys. The ferry piers are close to the hostel, so the boats are the easiest way to explore the bays.

For a day out, Viking Cave, 5.8 km away, is a limestone cave reached by boat, and the boat trips that serve the bays around the island are the usual way to reach it. Rough seas in the rainy months can disrupt boat trips, so plans may change on the day.
