Machorat Aonang Resort

Rooms at Machorat Aonang Resort run from standard rooms of 30 m² to a 50 m² family double room with two double beds and a refrigerator. Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, a balcony or terrace, an in-room safe box, a kettle and a refrigerator.

Beds include singles, doubles, queen beds and king beds, and some rooms overlook the pool or the mountains. Capacities run from two guests to five, and the family double room sleeps up to four guests. A baby cot can be requested directly from the property, subject to availability, and an extra bed carries an additional charge.

Machorat Aonang Resort is 350 m from Ao Nang Beach, the main beach of the town, and the Ao Nang Night Market is 1.3 km from the resort, where food stalls and local goods fill the streets in the evening.

Boats are the way to much of what makes this coast well known. Railay Beach, 2.3 km away, sits on a limestone peninsula that is reached only by longtail boat, and its beaches are popular with rock climbers. Phra Nang Cave is on the same peninsula, and Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 15 km away, is a hillside temple climbed by a long staircase. Krabi International Airport is 18.7 km from the resort.

A good day starts on Ao Nang Beach and continues by longtail boat to Railay or to the islands of Poda and Tup. Boat trips can be disrupted by rough seas in the rainy months, so it helps to keep a spare day in your plans. After a day on the water, the resort's outdoor swimming pool and spa offer a quieter way to finish the day.
