Maan Mork Khao Kho

Every room at Maan Mork Khao Kho has a mountain view and is cleaned daily. The rooms come with a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels.

There is a Double Room with a King bed for up to two guests, and a Quadruple Room with a King bed and a futon that sleeps up to three guests. Both room types have a mountain view, and the Quadruple Room is the one with a futon for a third guest.

The guesthouse has a garden and a terrace, a playground and a family room, and a 24-hour front desk is open around the clock. For relaxation there is a massage service on site, and a karaoke room and a shared lounge with a TV give guests places to spend the evening.

Meals are flexible: breakfast can be served in the room or taken away, room service is available, and there is a shared kitchen. Tours are offered, bicycles are available, and a shuttle service is offered to guests. Meeting and banquet facilities are also on site, and the garden and the terrace give guests a place to sit outdoors in the afternoon.

Maan Mork Khao Kho is in the hills of Khao Kho, a highland district of Phetchabun province in central Thailand. The landscape is made of wooded ridges, farmland and small villages, and the guesthouse stands in the Thung Samo area, among the villages of the district. The guest house is run by a private host, so it has the feel of a small property rather than a large resort.

The villages around the guesthouse are small and spread out across the hills. Ban Non, a small upland hamlet, is about 1.9 km away, and the Khaokho Boutique Camp is only 600 m off. The Khao Kho Wind Farm, 4.6 km away, has turbines on the hills, and Wat Pa Khasamakhi, a Buddhist pagoda, is further on at 6.4 km. Because the villages are spread out, a vehicle makes the more distant sights easier to reach.

A day here can begin with a walk in the hills around the guesthouse, continue to the wind farm, and end with a massage on site. Bicycles are available for shorter trips, and tours are offered if you prefer to see the district with someone else.
