Ban Raiphudin

Ban Raiphudin is in the Thung Samo area of Khao Kho, a highland district of Phetchabun province in central Thailand. The landscape is hilly, with villages spread across the slopes and a quieter pace than in the lowland towns, away from city life. The area is known for quiet roads and open views rather than nightlife, and the mountain air is noticeably cooler than in the plains below.

The Khaokho Boutique Camp is 350 m from the property, and the Khao Kho Wind Farm, with its turbines on the hills, is 3.8 km away. Ban Non lies 2.1 km off, and the Wat Pa Khasamakhi pagoda is 7.3 km away. Many of the sights are spread across the hills, so a car makes getting around much easier.

A good day could take in the Khao Kho Wind Farm, the hill villages of Ban Non and Ban Phet Dam, and the pagoda at Wat Pa Khasamakhi, the furthest of these, before an afternoon back on the terrace of the guesthouse.
