Ma-Kham Forest Resort has loft-style rooms, cabins and a family room, with garden or river views depending on the room. The Mini-Zoo is also in the area, an easy outing with children.

Khao Yai National Park, 15 km away, is a large national park with forest trails and wildlife, and it makes a full day out. Plan the park for one day, then stop at a waterfall or the dam on the way back. The resort is reached by road, so a car makes it easy to combine the park, the waterfalls and the dam in a single day, with time to spare for the pool and the garden when you return to the resort.
