Ma Doo Bua Stay

The rooms at Ma Doo Bua Stay include garden-view rooms and pool-view villas, and several have a private bathroom. Bed arrangements vary from room to room, and the 72 m² connecting room sleeps up to six guests.

Rooms can have a hair dryer, an electric kettle, bathrobes, toiletries and a bathtub, and some have air conditioning, a transfer shower or a mini bar. Connecting layouts are also offered, and some villas are Thai-style houses set beside the pool. Safe boxes, soundproofing and mosquito nets are also features of the rooms. Ma Doo Bua Stay is in Thalang, the district of Phuket that takes in Cherngtalay and the Laguna resort area. It is a quieter setting than the island's busy beach towns. A fresh market and a post office are within a few hundred metres, and a hospital is a little further on.

Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport, 10.2 km away, and Krabi International Airport is further off on the mainland. The Peranakan Phuket Museum, 1.4 km away, covers the island's Peranakan culture. Layan National Park is also nearby, and the Big Buddha, a large hilltop statue, is 21.7 km away. Patong Beach is 13.2 km away, so a car or taxi is the practical way to reach the beaches on the west coast.

A day could start at the Thalang Victory Monument, a memorial to the defence of the town, 1 km away, before a visit to the Peranakan Phuket Museum. A taxi for the day can cover several of these sights in one outing. In the afternoon, the beaches of Patong or Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with evening shows, make a longer outing. Back at the resort, the indoor and outdoor pools make a restful end to the day.
