A good day could start at the Soi 38 night market or the Phra Khanong Market, then take the Skytrain to Siam for Siam Paragon and the Jim Thompson House. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are better kept for a separate day, since they are a longer trip from the Skytrain and Wat Arun lies across the river.
