LongDoo Hostel

The rooms at LongDoo Hostel are shared dormitories and capsule rooms, several of them mixed. Some rooms have air conditioning, and a few have a balcony or terrace, so the choice depends on the kind of sleeping space you want.

Beds include single, double, queen and king beds, depending on the room, and the dormitory rooms are shared spaces with other travellers. Two of the capsule rooms are lower bunks, and some capsules share a bathroom with other guests.

LongDoo Hostel offers private check-in and check-out, a laundry service and 24-hour security. Facilities for disabled guests are available, and English and Thai are spoken.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is internet access at the property. Some rooms have a mirror, toiletries and a shower, and some are non-smoking.

Towels and linens are available in some rooms, and some capsules have blackout curtains and a locker. A concierge service is available in some capsules, and the hostel's laundry is open to all guests.

LongDoo Hostel stands in Ton Sai, the village on the bay of the same name on Ko Phi Phi. The island is reached by boat from the mainland, and the village is busy, with budget accommodation, dive shops and boat piers along the shore. The bay is close to the water, and the village is lively into the evening.

Ton Sai Beach is 550 m from the hostel, and the Ton Sai pier, the departure point for boats to the other islands, is 300 m away. Long Beach is 1.5 km away, and Viking Cave, a limestone cave, is 5.2 km away. Viewpoint 1 is 650 m from the hostel, on the hill above the village, and it gives wide views over the bays.

A full day often starts with a boat trip to the bays and islands around Ko Phi Phi, leaving from the Ton Sai pier. Back in the village, the market and the Tsunami Building, a monument to the 2004 tsunami, are a short stroll from the hostel. In the rainy season, rough seas can affect boat trips. The village lanes are best explored on foot, and the pier is the starting point for most boat trips.
