Satun has a relaxed pace, and the resort's setting gives guests a quiet base close to the town's sights. Satun has a large Muslim community, which is reflected in local places such as Masjid Mambang, a mosque a short distance from the resort. Travellers who want to explore the southern provinces will find it a practical starting point, with the Malaysian border and the quieter streets of the town close at hand.

A short trip takes you to the Food Market, 350 m from the resort, which is the closest of the town's places of interest. The Night Market is 2 km away, and the national museum in Satun is 1.9 km from the resort, a good place to learn about the region. Khao to Phaya Wang Public Park, 1.3 km away, is a green space in town, and the Satun Bus Station, 4.2 km from the resort, connects the town with onward travel.

A day could start at the Food Market and continue to the national museum, then to the Monkey Mt Forest Park. Finish the afternoon at the Night Market, and return to the resort by taxi or motorbike, since most places are within a few kilometres.
