SAND BARA Beach retreat

The rooms at SAND BARA Beach retreat measure 20 to 21 m², and all of them have air conditioning. The king-bed rooms sleep two guests each. The family room has two queen beds and sleeps up to four guests.

Some rooms have a bathtub, a mini bar, a refrigerator or a kettle, while others have a shower with toiletries and a hair dryer. Blackout curtains and instant coffee are provided in some rooms too, so the equipment varies from room to room. SAND BARA Beach retreat sits on Pak Bara Beach in Satun province, in the Pak Nam subdistrict on the Andaman coast of southern Thailand. Satun is one of the southernmost provinces on the mainland, next to the Malaysian border. The area is shaped by the sea and the boats more than by a town centre, and the resort suits guests who want to stay by the water.

The Pak Bara ferry terminal is the closest landmark at 950 m, and the beaches of Cu Pa Noi Beach (3.1 km) and Bulo Beach (3.5 km) are the next places to head for, while the viewpoint at Bang Sila Beach is 6.3 km away.

A day can start at the Pak Bara ferry terminal with a boat to the Tarutao islands, including Koh Lipe, and the coastal beaches lie further along the road. Boats can be cancelled when the sea is rough, especially in the rainy months, so keep a spare day in the plan.
