A boat trip to Railay or to the islands makes a full day, although boat departures depend on sea conditions, and Ao Nang's main road is lined with restaurants and tour agencies, so trips are easy to arrange once you are in town. The Tiger Cave Temple, a hilltop temple reached by a long staircase, is about 15.5 km away and makes a trip inland.
