Every room at Living Room Guesthouse & Cafe Bar has air conditioning, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels. The rooms measure between 15 and 35 m², with double, queen and king beds, and a sofa bed in the studio.

Two rooms have a mountain view: the Double Room with Balcony, for up to two guests, and the Superior Double Room, for up to three. Toiletries, towels and an electric kettle are provided, and streaming service like Netflix is available on the TVs.

It is calmer than the Bangla Road nightlife strip in Patong, so it appeals to travellers who want the sea close by without the bars and crowds, and the long shore is the main reason people come here.

Karon Beach is 250 m away, and the Karon Night Market, with its evening food stalls, is 300 m from the guesthouse. Kata Beach, the neighbouring bay, is 2.6 km away, and the Big Buddha Phuket, a large white statue on a hilltop, is 3.1 km. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's best-known temples, is 4.5 km away.

The beach and the night market are close enough to reach on foot, while the Big Buddha and the temple take a drive along Phuket's road network. A day can start with a swim at Karon Beach, continue to the Big Buddha and the temple, and end at the night market. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with an evening show, makes a full evening further out, and Bangla Road in Patong is a drive away for those who want a livelier night.
